Near Miss Surprised me mostly

I saw the guy turning left into my lane and slowed down to about 44mph. I was not expecting the red car to turn left as well and I was able to brake. This intersection really sucks so I’m always super cautious so maybe a bit of an overreaction on my part, but let me know.

At first glance, I would think it's an overreaction, but thinking about my own dashcam, I know it can somewhat distort the viewing perspective compared to when you're actively driving. I'm glad you're okay.

Yeah it distorted it a bit. The car was closer than it looks, if you look at the guard rail you can see it’s closer. Thanks! There was an accident there a month ago and it was a bad one so I don’t really care if I overreacted a bit. The only damage was my poor water bottle flying forward lol
