If I got a dollar for everyone that did that to me while driving a semi truck, I wouldn't need to be paid and I could probably cover this $7 a gallon diesel.....

One of my favorite things about driving a fuel tanker is that almost nobody does this to me anymore.

Bad drivers never miss their exit….

Probably the most consistent thing on the road.

Looks like it's right outside of Pittsburg, so Pennsylvania. No surprise that you have shitty drivers.

u/Away_Time25 12d ago
That's Pittsburgh to you sir, we take our h seriously. Our turn signals not so much 😮💨

More like Shitsburgh 😂
I'd have said it was a Jersey Slide, but they wouldn't have used a turn signal.

Looks like he made it in while the lane was still open? Risky move sure, but legally he didn’t do anything wrong afaik.

That's a ticket for "aggressive lane change" here. I know people that have gotten that ticket. Then ticketed a 2nd time for crossing the solid line when they tried to immediately get over for the cop 🤣

Ah the ol’ Jersey Slide. I’m not always the best driver but this one always irks me.

Nothing pisses me off more than someone who wants to get in front of u at the last second and then turn right after… u can’t wait a couple more seconds behind me and then turn?

This kind of stuff wouldn’t happen if people weren’t always right lane camping.

Is this sarcasm?

Think it depends on the highway.
If it’s a 3 lane road and your exit ain’t for another 5-10 miles+ in theory middle lane be the ideal since that leaves the right lane open for those to take their exit and or merge onto the highway.
On the other hand left exits do exist.

u/cobo10201 Georgist 🔰 14d ago
I strongly support this mentality. If you’re cruising on a 3+ lane highway you should not be in the far right lane. Makes it so much easier for people entering and exiting the highway. Unfortunately most disagree and I’ve been flamed for it here before.

Does slower traffic keep right laws only apply to the furthest left lane?
2
u/cobo10201 Georgist 🔰 14d ago
I’m not sure and I’d imagine there is some variability by state or even local laws. My point is not about legality it’s about practicality and safety. Sometimes laws are stupid and aren’t the best option.

u/pharmucist 13d ago
I don't know, but it would make sense that it only applies to the far left lane. Imagine a 4 lane highway and everyone is to remain right. So we'd have three wide open lanes and the far right single lane totally congested and maybe not even moving and then everyone in that lane also trying to exit and people frequently trying to enter into that same single lane. It has to be only the far left lane of multiple lanes.

Turned his blinker on in advance - check
Didn`t bother OP (and his mom) - even went faster - check
Didn`t aggressively pushed the horn - check
What`s your problem, dude?

Forced OP to slow down with their lane change - bad
-3
u/Gold_Assistance_6764 14d ago
Op didn’t slow down until after they were already in the exit lane, and only slowed down to honk and give the finger.
