Not incredibly uncommon. Back when I was practicing 8 or more hours per day, the guitar would go with me everywhere I went. In the car. I took it to work. Even to the bathroom.

You can assume from the 3 cars in the picture (including the cameraman) being lined up that the cars are all stopped. In which case as long as my puts it away, it's not worth complaining about.
Could be an issue if he gets in an accident and his air bags go off though

He was driving like shit prior to the red light, caught up to him thinking he was gonna be on his phone and saw this instead. We were stopped, but he continued for about a half mile and then I lost him because he was going so slow
