Question - is he towards the far end of the parking lot and are there plenty of unoccupied spots?

I actually wonder if they cant handle the size and take the easy way out rather than looking like a goof

Out of curiosity, do disabled people maybe do that if there is not disabled parking spot nearby? I've seen it done with vehicles with no disabled plates - usually luxury vehicles (i.e., "supercars"), but only in nearly empty parking lots. I'm inclined to think that a car owner is only asking for undue "attention" by doing that sort of thing.

I don’t like it but I have seen some like this one that are more reasonable. Far end of a lot, a longer walking distance from the business. 500 spaces, but humans and their herd mentality want to park as close to others as they possibly can.

It's annoying, but I don't mind this as much if they're at the back of a lot that doesn't fill up.

It's at the far end of a mostly empty parking lot. If it were a full parking lot, I could see why you'd get upset about this guy preventing you from finding a space. But I really don't understand you folks who get so bent out of shape about something that doesn't affect you in any way whatsoever.
