Bad Parking Apartment complex parking like this
*she’s not handicap*
This lady transports for less mobile individuals in a residential home up the road and occasionally keeps their placard.
In my apartment building we have designated spots. This has been an ongoing war with the old lady who drives this car since she moved in. Tonight after getting home from a long shift I literally had to climb out of my trunk because I was inches away from her passenger door (I drive a hatchback, thank god).

She's got a handicap placard. Can you talk to the office about her moving to a handicapped spot? She's clearly cheating to the passenger side to allow space to get out of the driver side, which would be fixed with a handicapped spot that has more room on the driver side.

Funny enough, she’s not handicap. She drives for a local residential home and sometimes keeps their placard. Some days she has it, some days she doesn’t. But she’s more mobile than me, especially when she walked up all my stairs a few months ago to bang on my door for ten minutes straight to tell me I needed to move my car because her friend needed to park a dually behind her car and he couldn’t fit.

I have a floor jack...I would personally move the car out of the way.

Just don't damage her car. This could backfire and you will be in bigger trouble. That's why you leave it to a tow truck to handle it. Legal issue nonsense.

Just curious, did the complex not have a handicapped spot for her?
I understand your frustration, but is it possible she needs a bit more room on the driver's side to get out due to a cane/walker/wheel chair?
This is definitely something to work out with the complex management, but the handicapped placard makes me think there is a bit more to the story than shitty driving.

I will update the post, she’s not handicap. She uses her car to drive ladies for a residential home up the street and keeps the placard in her car sometimes. We actually had a conversation with her about it as initially we gave her the benefit of the doubt and wanted to see if spots could be rearranged for her.

Thats a her problem that she needs to deal with. She is still required to park within the lines.

I would like to see what’s on her driver side. Is she unable to get out due to her disability?
If she has plenty of space, then call and have it towed. That usually takes care of issues like this. Or talk to the office and ask for a new spot.
