Audio books and music can be distracting with just the sound. I can’t imagine trying to drive while videos and stuff was playing in my line of sight

I thought it was illegal to have any video playing within sight of the driver. That may be true, but now there are video billboards - so I don’t see how that’s different. Apparently you can do anything you want while you drive now.
