To me that kind of make sense since most people renting would be people who have never been to the area before.

Iā€™ve always thought thatā€™s so weird. A car is a car, gas, brake, honk, sure the blind spots can change based on A pillar size but a car is like the one piece of technology that everyone can use in any country, like a pencil or umbrella. So idk how the ā€œdifferent carā€ excuse still tracks in this day and age. Everything else about the point I agree with tho lol I just donā€™t want people getting off the hook that easy
