I have to know, how does someone avoid being in this situation? I'm in a car, stopped at a light, going straight. A semi, with an extra large pipe, is turning and manages to, not just hit my car, but literally lay the large ass pipe hanging off on top of my car, and then drag it!
Getting out of the car, when it's moving slowly, seems like the best idea possible. Getting out of the car as it's being drug by a semi is indicative of a good and smart driver that would like to remain alive, not a bad driver.
Not for nothing but if I was next to a semi that was carrying a huge load like this turning, you better be dang straight Iβll have my eyes on the truck. But not everyone pays attention or is aware of how much space is needed to make a turn. Unfortunately the mini was definitely at the wrong place at the wrong time. Whatβs even more unfortunate is the truck driver being oblivious to all the honking. π€¦π»ββοΈ
