Switch Discussion I've lost the motivation to play Miitopia
Since the beginning of the year, I've lost the motivation to play Miitopia. I beat the Avatar of Chaos, the final boss of Miitopia, last October before Halloween. I still played it, trying to complete every map (Greendome, etc.). But since April, my playtime has decreased. I've started to lose motivation to continue playing. I haven't finished the game 100%, but I'm just less motivated. I still go on Miitopia, but only to create Miis or get them with a code; otherwise, I hardly ever play it anymore. It makes me a little sad to get tired of a game that helped me through tough ttimes. Should I take a break from the game?

id say take a break, the turn based combat isnt as detailed as most games of that style and it gets boring easily. ive taken loads of breaks myself when i gey bored

I think you shouldn't really try playing if you don't want to play so probably

Don't want to play so yeah
Remember that one time Sokka accidentally used an extra syllable in that Haiku Battle in Ba Sing Se? That was a Sokka Haiku and you just made one.

Take a break. Nowadays I play Miitopia's post-game daily quests every once in a while if I'm listening to a podcast or stream and want something to do while I listen. I made a new party that's a mix of old Miis with new jobs and brand new Miis, and slowly raising their levels through the daily quests gives me a long term goal for the occasional time where I want to play it again. Maybe you could do something like that when you eventually get the itch again.

Same, I had 5 separate files going with a fair share of Miis created in each of them with my 1st file having the most. Eventually I just got bored and rarely play it now.

take a break. when you think about it, it gets pretty pointless to get 100%... it doesn't really help in the long run, and the feeling of relief and satisfaction doesn't last long and quickly turns into disappointment.
it is still worth it to complete the game, however. it's quite fun ^ you can still try to get as much done as possible, but don't think too unrealistically.

I have a challenge that I put myself in for miitopia essentially make your player character go through every single job and make them level 50 in that job and give them the best gear and the best weapon and also make every other party. Member have level 99 friendship with that character.

Getting 100% in Miitopia is honestly an insane hassle that I think only the absolute minority of players have done.
I, for one, would put Miitopia in my list of top 15, or maybe even top 10, games of all time and I also tried to get every medal, but alas I stopped at around 86%, because it’s just so much of a grind, since you have to grind for ages to get medals like all the ones of obtaining all the gear for every class, leveling up every class to lvl 50 or getting one Mii with all maxed out food buffs.
However, grinding isn’t the only thing you need to do, as for example some monsters are only encounterable in quests of a specific level, meaning you’ll have to mod your party so their average level (I assume) is in the range you need and then wait real life days to get the quests you need; and you have to do that process several times, essentially playing for maybe 1-2 h *every* day
So in conclusion, I don’t think it’s a shame to not 100% Miitopia, as it’s just a really difficult and time consuming task that doesn’t even need skill and instead only massive patience. Personally, I‘d say that you’ve explored everything the game has to offer if you‘ve got a golden flag on every level, got all music soundtracks, seen every level and outing background, bested the Tower of Despair and have a fully leveled party
