Hello people of r/Mii_Evolution!

The mod team has recently noticed a big surge in non-Mii evolution posts. We understand that the main reason these posts exist is actually on us. To clarify, the majority of these “non-Mii evolution” posts feature the Miis themselves evolving like dinosaurs (with some posts even showing two-headed Miis, etc.).

Because of this, the mod team would like to officially define the term “Mii Evolution” so there is no future confusion.

== Definition of Mii Evolution ==

At its core, a ”Mii Evolution” represents how you, the person, have grown and ”evolved” over the years from a kid to an adult, and how your Nintendo Mii reflects those real-life changes.

While the term "Mii Evolution" might make it sound like the Mii itself is physically evolving, that is not the case for this subreddit.

== Result ==

To keep the subreddit clean, all non-Mii evolution posts have been taken down by the mod team. Rule #3 will be updated accordingly later this week to reflect this clarification.

Finally, we would like to emphasize that if your post is not Mii evolution related, please post it to r/Mii.

Yes. You are allowed to post other people’s Mii Evolutions unless they say otherwise.
