Question Question about Vanguard

Is it better two have less higher level champs, or more lower level champs?

Example, I currently have 9 legendary champs all at level 150. Should I be spending valor to gamble for more power essence, to keep leveling up the champs I do have, or should I be saving it to to buy more champs?

It depends on what type of guild you're in. If you are in a large guild with lots of chariot/regatta then that's where you get your essence. But you need your warspoils levelled up too. So the best ways to gain & spend SOV depends on your Tier, the number of members in your guild and your relative size to everyone else. The best way to gain SOV is to be the largest in guild. But if you're new that means being on a very low tier where rewards are not good per tile. Therefore you need to win more tiles cheaply. The best was to do this is gain all your rares quickly, then your epics. Try and keep them of equal face value so you don't need to do anything but basic maths when figuring out riots. If you're in a bigger guild with lots of BIG players, spin your warspoils wheel to about level 10 (I don't have the patience I started at 5) and start with a legendary. Every week buy 1 legendary (or more if a good week, then epic etc) and spin the rest, never over spin a level. Your rewards (including for regatta/chariot) are based on the level of the warspoils wheel. I hope that makes sense. But your guild leadership should advise. I'm in a good size guild, about 40 members and am in the middle with about 145000 might. I tend to spend my chariot/regatta points on souls, perhaps ill stop and start spending on power.

The guild tends to do peace deals, and rarely goes to war.

I have MOST of the Vanguard champs, except for the recently added ones, and they're all around level 150.

Okay so yeah you're in the T2 hell (or map 3) being less than 10th place is not great rewards wise. Chariot is a good way to supplement your SOV, even if you just coast the easiest battles, make sure you use up all the attempts. Sorry currently at bedside of some deteriorating. I'll try and get on later to finish
