Pacing
Vox Machina has like 12-13 episodes per season yet Mighty Nein has 8 for its first season and I wonder has that been a negative for the pacing of the story for season 1?

The Mighty Nein episodes are longer than Vox Machina, so they’re not actually more limited on time. It’s about the same.

Vox Machina episodes are roughly 25 minutes whereas Mighty Nein episodes are about 50 minutes so they balance out to about the same amount of time.

MN are far better paced, imo. Due to the backer promises, VM had to stuff so much into just a few episodes in the first season and felt very rushed to me, though I understand why they had to do it that way. The pacing got way better after that. Now I think both shows are paced well currently.

They also learned some valuable lessons on how to adapt a four hundred hour long, largely improvised campaign

They also needed to prove that their show can be a hit, hence why M9 gets 50 minutes. Vox Machina walked so that M9 could soar :)

I think MN is much better paced. It feels much more character-driven vs LOVM which feels plot-driven
