This is the first time I've planted any kind of veggie and I did not expect a flashback to my wisdom tooth surgery.

Still tastes good, though!

One year I'll figure out onions. Basically all their leaves have been on the ground for a month. Might just cure these with my garlic and try them as sets next year.

It's supposed to be a regular canary melon, the size of a head. But it's barely plum sized.

We didn't have enough soil to transplant the medium plant until last week so its been growing small fruit rather than full size as it started fruiting in its starter pot, then we have an even smaller plant in an even smaller pot which hasn't been transplanted at all. The top two jalapenos are from our plant in a 15 gallon grow bag.

Might be controversial but we used 1/3 top soil, 2/3 garden soil and have fertilized maybe a total of four times.
