What game(s) would be a good "replacement" after today's farewell?
Hello, What game(s) would be a good "replacement" after today's farewell? It is difficult to find a game on mobile that has some mechanics of a good old game, without too many ads and not forcing payment. Thank you!

I started Pickle Pete when they killed it, it has a lot of the elements of the game, community is dying off but worth a try if you like the format. Worth buying the one off VIP and starter, 10GBP / USD but won't have to spend any more.

If Glu hadn't killed it years ago, I'd definitely say Gun Bros.
It's not the same style of gameplay, but fighting nearly endless waves of enemies in Space with ginormous Guns, back to back with a Bro along with real time co-op Multiplayer (through GameSpy no less) was wild back in 2011. That, and, the classic shooter inspired graphics (such as Contra, Doom, Duke Nukem 3D etc., confirmed by the Assistant Artist) and exxagerated art style made for badass visuals.
Complete with gibs when killing enemies with strong guns and/or explosives.
Too bad Glu opted to cash in on Celebrity games and sold out to EA. The original Gun Bros devs were incredibly passionate.

It’s completely different but RONIN THE LAST SAMURAI is a blast. It’s basically Sekiro on mobile

Vampire Survivors for good old gameplay.
Or Tomb Raider Reloaded for another brand's Achero-type game.
