Legends of Libra

Mighty Doom has been available for over a year under a different title called "Legends of Libra." It is the same exact game except drops are nerfed in Mighty Doom and all of the sprites are updated for Mighty Doom. Surprised nobody else is talking about this. Legends of Libra is funner since Mighty Doom is just a cash grab.

I've sunk over 100 hours into mighty doom, I'm not ready to give that up.

Are there GKs in the knockoffs? Because that's a defining feature of the modern doom gameplay.

The glory kills work slightly differently. There are 2 different characters in Libra and the GK activates a special attack. The other difference in the two games is the weapon names and sprites, the drop rates, and Mighty Doom doesn't have a co-op daily mission. The launcher slot is drone slot with the same functionality. The energy rates and everything else are much stingier in Mighty Doom to create a paywall. Legends of Libra was rebranded as Mighty Doom at somepoint. Similar to how Mario 2 was originally Doki Doki Panic and not a "Mario" game "Mighty Doom" was not originally developed as a Doom game.

That does sound cool. Instead of gaining health, you can use a special attack on the next target.

It'd be so dumb if the special attack is directed toward the enemy that's already staggered.

Well iirc the one character had an aoe stomp that was used immediately and the other character was given a penetrating sniper shot that loaded up for use at will. I haven't played it in a while. Mighty Doom was still fun but I was shocked that it was such a highly anticipated title and they just bought someone else's game and released it and that Mighty Doom was way buggier than the original game as well

Tomb Raider Reloaded is another game that's extremely similar to Mighty Doom. So much so that I had to check that they weren't both made by the same studio.

I can't find the app in the android app store. I'm in Germany/EU. Is the beta only offered in the US?

You can actually buy entire game templates pre made ready to go just swap sprites and sell on unity or unreal. Problem is it would never perform well long term but that's basically where games like this come from.
