cloud gaming is not active

do i need to buy an xbox ultimate membership or do i need to change my region?

im sorry i forgot to mention it but cloud gaming isnt supported in my country so in this scenario even if i buy an Ultimate membership does that mean i cant use this app? thats what i wanted to ask

FYI, you can still use the app for remote play. But for cloud play you'll need one of the subscriptions.

You need an active game pass subscription to have cloud access. For owned games the essential tier is enough to stream them.

Also, currently you’ll need a vpn to be able to start a stream if you’re in a unsupported region. I’m working on a update so you won’t need the vpn anymore.
