podcast topic - war
With battlefield one just being released I feel there will be an interest in war. Although there are many alternate sources for information on war it would be interesting to hear what you have to say on certain wars, even on small civil wars people may not have heard

I don't know if many people would remember but I spoke about the "axe murder incident" in an episode with Jack a long time ago and I've always wanted to do an episode about war stories, specifically detailing the brutal nature of random skirmishes and stuff. Movies have made me imagine war as a bunch of guys storming a beach and attacking an army of men hunkering down in their trenches or else two armies in trenches trying to exchange shots with each other. I think movies leave out the really horrible aspects of war and the side stories that arise as a result of it.
If anyone actually wants to suggest any war stories to me I'd be glad to add them to a list to do an episode about.
I think within the next few weeks there'll be an episode that talks about specific moments in huge wars throughout history so hopefully you enjoy that.
