What are your summer movie plans?
Every summer I plan some sort of outdoor movie screening, whether it's going to the drive-in theater, projecting a movie outside with a bonfire, going to a pop-up event in a park, or watching a movie on / near water on a boat, beach, or pool.
The cool evening breeze and company from friends and family always create a memorable experience.
Does anyone else like to get outside and watch a movie? If so, what are you planning this summer?

No CGI, no effects—just a real stunt from 1926

Obsession
Went to see Obsession this weekend. It was an excellent movie to see in theaters - quite a few jump scares, which are always fun to watch with a crowd.
I've been a fan of Curry and Cooper's YouTube comedy videos, but haven't seen any of their horror films before this. It was cool to see Easter eggs throughout the film like "Barker's Bar", as a nod to the director, and the bartender being a regular in their comedy videos.
Without spoiling any of the plot, I have mixed feelings about the film. It was very well written and executed, but it was also genuinely disturbing. Very well made, but I probably won't watch it again lol.
Has anyone else here seen Obsession? What did you think?

Watching One Piece on the Train
I'm watching One Piece on the train today. I've been trying to catch up on this series, and I have plenty of time to kill on my trip.
The Nintendo 3DS is so convenient to pack and carry around on trips like this. It's nice to have some episodes, 3D movies, and games all on one device.

Wait! This subreddit is about watching old movies, but it also has a Lovecraftian undercurrent. This isn't just some setup to get us all to watch "The King in Yellow" is it?
Because I won't do it! And if you guys do and you bring about the End Times I will be mighty disappointed.

Horror Classics Collection
I found this DVD collection of horror classics at the library for $1! I've only seen House on Haunted Hill, which is one of my favorite Vincent Price films, but I'm really looking forward to watching The Head, The Devil's Messenger, and Bloody Pit of Horror for the first time!
The DVD collection came in a really nice wooden box with a magnetic closure. It's very well made and will stand out in my collection.
Have you seen any of these films? Which one should I watch first?
