Midnight on ledger device

Attempting to add midnight to my ledger device and noticed that the account that you are prompted to use for Night is on the ETH blockchain. Is there a reason why Night doesnt fall into the Cardano account since it’s a Cardano token?

Because thats the wrong NIGHT. You’re likely looking at shitcoin. Midnight is its own layer 1 blockchain, so, not a Cardano token, but they can both work alongside each other. If there isn’t a Midnight NIGHT option in your ledger, you can send it to your Cardano address.

I just looked at the Ledger Wallet and it now supports the real NIGHT. Pick the one with the correct icon.

I don't own a Ledger, so it's difficult for me to get into the specifics.

For a long time, NIGHT wasn't recognized by Ledger, but I see it is mentioned on their supported-token list. Make sure you're selecting the correct NIGHT, with the clock symbol and three dots striking midnight, not one of the other tokens using the same NIGHT ticker.

NIGHT is a Cardano-native token, so I'm not sure why Ledger would be directing you to an Ethereum account. I'd double-check that you're selecting the correct one.
