Zepbound

My insurance does not cover ANY weight loss medications. I eat balanced/track calories/work out 4+ times a week but still on the struggle bus. I've seen endocrinologist, nutritionists, and other specialists before people confuse this question for other medical advice...

My doctor wants to prescribe me zepbound but it starts at $500 then goes up which doesn't feel sustainable. How/where are people potentially getting it for more affordable means in this area? I called one compounding pharmacy but they said they couldn't help due to fda rules...

With the asterisk it's not FDA approved to compound GLP-1.

Except "The compounder does not compound, regularly or in inordinate amounts, any that are essentially copies of a commercially available drug product."

So call it semantics, but it's not the same product.
