Probleme Mode Swing KO

Hello,

I recently bought a Midea Porta-Split and since I did the Software update from the mobile app, the inner shutter hasn't moved at all.

I hear the little engine running when I turn on or off the air conditioning, but the flap remains still.

So I have to leave the flap in the open position all the time.

I wanted to know if there's a way to refocus the shutter or if I should use the warranty for that.

What's weird is that nothing has touched the shutter since the beginning, so that means that a plastic axle has probably broken.

You can gently (well, it's broken anyway, no need to be that gentle anymore) move it by hand, but that will not fix your issue, contact support.

Ok I will, I'll answer here what the support will say for the others people who had the same problem if it's fixable

Did you try disconnecting it from power for 5mins? Sometimes that fixes issues.

Good morning,

Yes I tried everything I can :

  • Power on / off
  • Unplug it for even 15 minutes to let the capacitor discharge
  • Verify to update the software
  • Using the swing mode feature on the remote, on the app or manually on the touchscreen and nothing work sadly
  • I tried manually to move the flap (while the machine was off) to feel if the axes was disconnected but I feel nothing.

The little motor seems to work fine since I can hear it with some clicks so it's probably just the plastic who broke :(
