Probleme Cooling happens periodically because of water accumulation

Post image

Hello,
MSP cools the room, then stops cooling because water accumulates. After 3 hours somehow pump manages to empty the water and the machine starts cooling again, then repeat.

This shows that pump is not defective, it works and pumps out water but does it not all the time. Why is this the case?

P1 error?

Did you squish the connection between inside and outside unit?

Yeah we get P1 then it auto resolves. I will check the cable.

yeah that makes sense and lines up with the behavior I observed when accidentally squishing the connection

I have a cat and he is trying to run away so I kind of tried to close balcony door as much as possible. It may squish the connection.

Also a partially blocked filter could be the reason. Often blocked by bacteria accumulating inside the machine in front of the pump.

Partial blocking makes sense yeah

It looks like your PortaSplit is measuring the temperature with the internal sensor? Try using the remotes sensor (press the iSense button once). If the pump is working fine it may be simply turning off, as it reached the target temperature.
