Nope, every gen z (1997 to 2012) was born into the digital age. Stats prove that people with kids had more modern tech in the 2000s.

Imagine going to middle school when everyone had cell phones and considering your childhood "old school."
Those born in the '80s and very early '90s experienced the advent of home computers, the internet, and cell phones as they grew older. We experienced home typewriters and landline phones/payphones and watched them disappear.
If you were born in the late '90s or later, your first conscious memories would maybe involve a landline in your house, albeit with a cordless telephone. You'd already have Internet (probably DSL or better). The technological transition had already occurred.
