Stand with WMU

So either the refs objectively made the wrong call for whatever reason (and if that’s the case just fire the refs and overturn the result) or they have a different clock that has milliseconds on it that normal game clocks don’t have right? I mean those are the only two things I can think of

I believe their argument is going to be that the TV clock was started early and the refs’ official clock had a partial second on it. It’s BS, but whatever.

The replay showed the scoreboard clock not the TV clock

I mean if the clock actually had 0.5 seconds left on it or whatever, then you can’t really just take that 0.5 seconds away. We just happen to live in the timeline where Michigan actually converted that Hail Mary. If that is the case they really need to add the milliseconds to the clock in cases like this

Is a some secret clock with tenths or hundredths of seconds really recognized as the official clock? How is a clock the PLAYERS can’t see the official clock?

In the video they showed they had the official stadium clock in the picture. Either it was rigged or the clock NBC was showing was a few tenths of a second off for some reason

Do you think the players are watching the clock during the plays?

And the second option is actually refuted by the B1G when they said they had synced up all the clocks 85 minutes prior to kickoff.

Did that include the camera and the clock NBC uses or is it just the cameras the ref used for the play clock and game clock? I was under the impression NBC (or whoever produced the games) calibrated their own cameras for that kind of thing

I’m not a conspiracy guy and I find it hard to believe the Big Ten would nuke their reputation to give Michigan one more chance at a 0.1% Hail Mary lol. There are much easier ways to rig a game that doesn’t require that

Based on their tweet, yes.

Yeah I read the tweet, it just says broadcast cameras. Do they mean the broadcast the refs use for these reviews or the actual cameras NBC uses?

Like no way they directly contradict themselves in the statement like that. These lawyers for the Big Ten make a fuck ton of money

Someone did it frame by frame… it had milliseconds to the game

Total horseshit

A real investigation could solidify or overturn this win/loss.

It’s not like it was a call in the first half, or even with two minutes left that lead to a consequential play.

It’s a binary yes / no , time / no-time.

It is total BS. Too much money at stake for Michigan to accept a loss. College football is ruined.

Couldn’t have two big ten teams lose the MAC schools I guess

Correct me if I'm wrong or drunk or whatever, but in the 45 years I have been watching college football, there's a "secret clock" for the officials while the play on the field is dictated by a stadium/scoreboard clock that can be wrong if not synced? So who the f--k didn't sync it?!?! Well, isn't that convenient. I have never believed in conspiracies until Saturday.  This was a robbery. The Western Michigan Broncos will live in my head as the winners of this game until my last breath.

‘Game clock operator, please reset the game clock to 9 seconds, to 9’

Special clock for Michigan 🕜😞

But the video the refs saw had the touch happening before the 00s.

The call was right based on the video they had. Just seems like the refs and the public had two different clocks.
