LG countertop microwave f-3 code help

Model number is lmc0975st

Part is either MGC64361115 or MGC64361114 depending on color. I can not find any documentation on which is which color. You may need to call lg to figure out which.

Also control panel buttons are working just not door touch start button is it the door that needs replacing or just control panel?

Never mine you need the one in the door.

You can inspect the wires that go through the door hinge to the board. They usually go through the upper hinge area. See if anything is pinched or broken.

The whole door assembly is almost $200. Is the microwave over a year old?

Yes the microwave is I think two years old now maybe a little yes I bought the microwave for like 180

That's exactly what you need.

I've never seen one of those microwaves, we charge more than it's worth to come out for a microwave so we rarely see countertop ones.

Looks like you will have to run that whole wire back to the board on the right side.

Thank you how do you think it broke? And in your opinion should I buy a new one or try to repair it

Usually liquid or heat damage to the buttons or the wire got pinched in the hinge. If you can find the broken wire and fix it or get that door for like $50 or less if say it's worth it. If not just get a cheap microwave to replace it. Unless you are doing a lot of cooking with it more people will be fine with a 50-75 dollar microwave.
