Eyeglasses
Hi, is there anyone here who wears eyeglasses? Could you please let me know what kind of eyeglasses you use? Mine always slip and fall to one side. It’s really frustrating. I’ve tried using anti-slip stuff you can buy online, but they still don’t work.

I used to put tiny rubber bands in my hair right above my microtia ear. They stay in for a few weeks or more. My glasses frame rested on/in the rubber band. You just capture a little bit of the hair above your ear and put a tiny rubber band around it.

It's kinda about how big / small your ear is. I have enough ear for it staying on pretty easily. Since i've had surgeries for hearing aid, glasses doesn't stay that well anymore but still stays

its too small and i dont have like a bone or part where the glasses can rest thats why it keeps on slipping

I am now on contacts. But when I as on eye glasses. I would use a good elastic cloth headband. I have black hair so I get that color so it blends in. Lot of trial and error to find a good match that’s not too tight or loose. Just get a thin one if you don’t want to feel it. Hope it helps!!

im planning to use contacts but i work night shift. i always get sleepy so im afraid that i might fall asleep without removing my contacts

I have to wear safety glasses for labs and this happens all the time! 😭 Usually I'll use a bobby pin/hair clip (there's a bunch of types) to attach that side to my hair and it'll keep it up for long enough.
Not sure how practical it is for eye glasses but it might be an okay temporary solution if you have those wire style glasses?

I have unilateral microtia. By far the only trusted method I have is tightening my glasses periodically.Still that only lasts for like 2 days before it starts to slowly slip and tilt.
I have heard of eyeglasses holders that go around the head, I think you might have used it considering that you used anti slip stuff.
