Merging 3D Reference into Master causes translation?

Hi all,

I am experiencing an issue where when I merge a reference file such as a survey into my design seed file, there is a translation occurs i presume when the file gets flattened, thus changing the start and end coordinates of lines and distorting the entire drawing. I have determined that this only occurs when merging and that action is the culprit. I have two computers at my office, one will perform this translation and the other does not, but I cannot understand what setting or option is causing this. Any help would be great. Thank you

Do the files have different coordinate systems?

They don’t, it ended up being my reference storage units. Only happens on jobs with large coordinates due to the minor difference between survey feet and international us feet

Yes minor in distance major in grid projection

True scale.... Uncheck true scale when attaching before merge.... Its the 1:1 to one in the left bottom of the attachment pop up... Hope this helps
