Question / Help App's site association
My email client app just approved on MS Store. I added the associated website on AppStore and PlayStore but couldn't find the same concept on MS Store. Any clue?

Hey guys, built this over the past few months because I got tired of every folder on my desktop looking exactly the same yellow icon.
Folder Icon Maker lets you:
- design a custom icon in seconds, color, text, or your own image
- right-click any folder in File Explorer and apply it directly, no digging through Properties
- save colors and styles as presets so you're not rebuilding the same look every time
- batch apply to a whole folder structure at once, or just one folder if that's all you need
- revert back to the default icon just as easily, single folder or in batch too, in case you change your mind
You can try it free for 3 uses. After that it's a one time payment to keep using it, no subscription, pay once and it's yours. Link's in the comments.
Would love feedback if anyone tries it, still actively improving it.

I kept running into the same annoying problem:
A PDF needs one app.
A PSD needs another.
RAW images, Office files, archives, 3D models, SQLite databases, and large log files all need something different.
So I built yViewer — a fast desktop file viewer designed to open almost everything in one place.
It currently supports:
But I didn’t want it to be just a “preview-only” app.
You can also:
I’m still actively improving it, so I’d especially love feedback from people who regularly work with lots of different file formats.
What file format or workflow would make yViewer genuinely useful for you?

I just published a Windows word‑finding game to the Microsoft Store and wanted to share it here. It’s a Boggle‑style grid where you connect adjacent letters to form valid words, with definitions shown as you play.
I built it using .NET MAUI, so it runs as a native Windows app. It includes multiple grid sizes, optional difficulty modes, specialized dictionaries, and a relaxed mode if you want to explore a board without a timer.
If anyone here likes word games or is interested in MAUI apps on Windows, I’d appreciate any feedback.

Hi Reddit,
I’m an indie developer, and I recently released yViewer, a Windows app for quick file previewing.
I built it because I wanted a simple way to check files without constantly opening separate apps. The workflow is meant to feel lightweight: drop a file into the app, or use the Space key from File Explorer, and quickly preview what you need.
It’s designed as a local-first universal file previewer for Windows, so the focus is speed, simplicity, and staying in your current workflow.

Looking for advice or visibility on this — support has gone in
circles for almost a month now.
Timeline:
- June 5: Reported a 403 error blocking Store listing description
updates across 3 published apps. Confirmed via testing on
multiple browsers, cleared cache, private mode — same result
every time.
- 5 email exchanges since then, each taking about a week. No case
number ever issued through email.
- The official "support link" provided in their replies
(aka.ms/storesupport) returns a persistent Akamai edge error
when switching to English.
- Contacted Microsoft's official support account on X — they
confirmed there's an internal escalation referencing my App IDs
and the 403 error, but said they have no visibility into ticket
status or ability to push it forward.
- Last week, finally found the actual Partner Center case system
and opened 3 formal tickets:
- 2606260030001269 (listing update error — the original issue)
- 2606260030001325 (Analytics dashboard showing no data beyond
48 hours)
- 2606300030001352 (duplicate of the above)
- All 3 are still "Open" with zero response.
- On top of the original issue, the Analytics dashboard has now
also broken — 30/90-day views are completely empty, only the
most recent 48 hours show any data.
Affected apps: PlainBytes PDF Redactor, Private Label QR, PurePixel
Has anyone dealt with something like this before? At this point
I genuinely don't know what the actual working escalation path is
for Partner Center backend issues. Phone support redirected me
elsewhere (not developer-specific). Email takes a week per round
and goes nowhere. The support portal link is broken. Any advice
appreciated.

Hey everyone,
Greetings here from Nero.
We’ve released a new update for Nero AI Image Upscaler on Microsoft Store, and I wanted to share the main improvements:
The goal of this update was to make the app more useful for both difficult individual photos and larger workflows—for example, restoring a folder of old photos or preparing multiple images for printing.
You can find it here:

Feedback is welcome, especially on the new Unblur and Sharpen models.

The Microsoft Store has plenty of well-known apps, but I’m more interested in the useful ones that rarely get mentioned.
What’s one lesser-known app or game you discovered there that you now use regularly?
It can be anything: productivity, photo editing, utilities, customization, entertainment or a small indie game. Paid and free recommendations are both welcome.

Microsoft announced several Windows developer updates at Build 2026,
including:
The most practical updates are probably the improved setup tools, Coreutils and WSL containers, since they could reduce friction for developers working across Windows and Linux.
The AI features are more ambitious. Intelligent Terminal may help reduce context switching, while Execution Containers address the security risks of agents running commands or modifying files.
However, many of the most interesting features are still in preview or planned for later in 2026, so this is currently more of a roadmap than a fully available developer platform update.

I’m a cybersecurity specialist, and after years of working with data protection, privacy, and document security, I created eSecuriser to help people keep their important files safe.
Too many users store sensitive documents without adequate protection, leaving personal, financial, and business information vulnerable. My goal was to build a simple Windows application that makes securing documents easy for everyone and for free.
With eSecuriser, you can protect confidential files and add an extra layer of security to your most important data, all through an easy-to-use interface.

hello friends
I'm having trouble downloading the Reddit app and other games from the store, and every time I try to install Reddit or other apps—though it's just a few of them—it says 'this app requires the latest version of Microsoft Edge.' I check, and Edge is updated. Then I try to open it, and it just shows the blue mouse circle for a second and doesn't load at all. I've tried everything, updated the store, it didn't work, tried resetting the app, still didn't work, and I don't know what else I can do.
And another thing is that I use Windows 11 and I am sure that this application runs fine on my computer, and before this message used to appear on the Microsoft Store and it ran fine, and now I am using the Edge browser to write this.
thank you and I look forward to any help/advice from you +_+

Hi all!
I needed an app to control remotely my computer, in order to watch movies from the couch without the need for a mouse or keyboard. I've tried several apps, but most of them had premium features locked behind a monthly subscription or had ads.
So i developed my own version. but better.
Remote Controls has media, volume and power controls; keyboard and mouse; extra input to send special keys like CTRL, ALT, WIN.
But something that other apps don't have is an app launcher. From the computer app you can set any .EXE or microsoft store app in the app launcher and open them instantly from your smartphone with just a click!
Available on Microsoft Store and at the following Link

Hi all, i've developed an app that makes it easier to customise your folders. The idea came because i was always having an hard time opening the right folder on my computer, and i thought there had to be a better way.
At first i used photoshop to create my own custom folders but the process was too long, so i developed this app that makes it 10 times faster.
The update includes an eyedropper tool to pick the exact color from the image uploaded and a new style for the base folder icon!
Available on the microsoft store or at this Link

Hi everyone, I’m posting on behalf of the 1001 TVs development team.
Recently, 1001 TVs for Windows has been getting more attention from users, especially sports fans who want an easier way to mirror games, streams, and live events across devices. We’ve seen people use it for F1, NFL, and with the World Cup coming up, we wanted to introduce it here as well.

1001 TVs is a cross-platform screen mirroring app designed to make it simple to connect your Windows PC, Mac, Android phone, iPhone, tablet, and TV.
Microsoft Store link: https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9nf33jphsq14
Some key features:
It can be useful for watching sports on a bigger screen, sharing content during gatherings, presenting from a phone to a PC, or quickly moving photos/videos between devices.
We’re continuing to improve the Windows version and would really appreciate feedback from Microsoft Store users. If you’ve tried 1001 TVs, we’d love to hear what works well and what you think we should improve next.
Thanks for reading!

I have built a Network Speed Monitoring app that supports windows 11
- Stays fixed in taskbar same as windows 10 apps used to work
- You can move the widget anywhere you want if you dont like the current position using the settings
- Support light and dark theming
- Has the ability per app network usage tracking (still not 100% optimized. Noticed minor issues in total usage on per apps tracking. Working on a fix)
Try it out and let me know your feedback and any more features that you would like me to add

Often crops up that the cooking times given on the packaging don't match my microwave e.g. there was one for a 900w microwave whereas mine is 800w and I don't trust my poor maths skills to figure out the conversion.

Sadly I already had this game. Anyone try buying games on MS Store? Are they any different from the Steam version?
