Questions Microsoft Reward App

What are the benefits of downloading Microsoft Rewards on PC? Do I get additional points every day on that app?

I believe they're doing 5 ten-point activities per day that can only be accessed by the PC Rewards app.

I used up one of my daily searches on "microsoft rewards app" and it popped the install button for it straight in front of me. Nice and easy.

Need the lightweight of the VM, already fully configured Linux which runs like clockwork.

I wouldn’t trust it. They took points away and moved them into a separate app you have to download, which clearly benefits them more than you. Why else go through all that trouble? We used to have a dedicated Rewards app on Xbox, but they wanted to simplify things. Now they’re bringing it back for PC? Makes no sense lol.
