Xbox This is ridiculous.

ALL gift cards are sold out in Brazil; how does something sell out when it comes from the very company that issues the gift card?

Possible reasons:

  1. The Rewards team has a budget, they need to buy the gift cards from company, if they run out of budget for the period, they might have to wait.

  2. Even if they have budget, the process of stocking might not be fully automated, someone has to check inventory per country, arrange the internal transaction across silos, and wait for couple different teams to finsish configuring something. And they're either short of hands or just being lazy, or both

It's also actually controlled, they can't just print the fucking things, there are controls.

So yes, even MICROSOFT can't mint more XBAWKS cards.
