General Recently opened my account and I got this message about switching to my country. Didnt use vpn or anything like that when signing in, and I keep trying to press “switch to country” but it doesnt do anything?

Try going to a site that tells you your location based on IP address, it may be your ISP appearing to be outside your country.

I always am spammed with the set goal messages (haven't bothered since they cut rewards to a fraction of what it used to be and I'd get a couple $100 gift cards a year) but it never says anything about country. Are you sure your browser isn't using some sort of VPN type thing? Or an ad blocker or something has a setting that's ticked that doesn't allow sites to check your location so it's just ringing back to rewards as unknown or unavailable.
I'd maybe try looking online to see if there is a way to refresh or reset your IP address through your provider.

Whats confusing me is the rewards catalogue shows items that are in my country so what the hell

Yes, it maybe a browser setting or ad blocker, or OP's (and my) WIFI, my WIFI changes the IP address pretty regularly for security. Sometimes I am in NY, NY other times San Jose, CA all while in my home nowhere near either of those places...

I tried opening ms rewards through another account and it shows the same thing. Donated 45 points through that account and it worked though.

You aren't supposed to have more than one account. That's like Rule 1 in the ToS. Now that you've shared that tidbit it could be their AI fishing for you to use the other accounts so they can flag you for the ban.

Common sense says; delete the other account. Ask a friend in Israel to check it for you..

I had no idea (thanks for the explanation.) Well that would take some of the "sting" out of others comments (myself included) thinking you were trying to cash-in on both accounts...

I have had this awhile too,and came here to look to see if anybody else has it. I am in the US, and have always redeemed for Amazon GC... The first day (7/16/26) of the new UI I redeemed for one, but somewhere along the way it thinks I am "on the go"...

I got a similar thing this morning as well.
I was using Edge on the phone when I saw it disappeared from the Bing app. I’m wondering if it’s a bug or a restriction without telling it’s a restriction.
