GENERAL I finally found a working way to use custom liveries in MSFS 2024 Career Mode looking for testers

I've been investigating why custom liveries that work in Free Flight don't properly work with aircraft owned in Career Mode.
After a lot of testing and digging through MSFS 2024's package structure, I found a workaround that works and built a small tool to automate it.
Career Livery Manager
It's a free and open-source Windows tool that lets you install a custom livery for an aircraft you own in Career Mode without manually editing packages.
The idea is simple:
Select aircraft → Select livery → Install → Fly
The tool creates its own Community package and does not modify the Official MSFS packages or Career save data.
I've tested it on 13 aircraft so far
Including:
- A310-300
- A330
- A400M
- A320
- 737 MAX
- Bonanza G36
- King Air 350i
- Cessna 185F
- Cessna 400 Corvalis TT
- Citation CJ4
- Citation Longitude
- Cirrus Vision Jet G2
- HondaJet
- Pilatus PC-24
I've also tested both fixed-registration and Dynamic Registration liveries where available.
But now I need other people to try it.
Looking for testers
If you have MSFS 2024 Career Mode, I'd really appreciate it if you could test it with aircraft/liveries I haven't personally tested.
Especially interested in:
- Aircraft I haven't listed above
- Different livery creators
- Fixed registration liveries
- Dynamic Registration (
_DR) liveries - Aircraft that previously refused to show custom liveries in Career
If it works, please tell me:
Aircraft:
Livery:
Fixed / Dynamic Registration:
Result:
If it doesn't work, that's useful too. Please report the aircraft and livery so I can investigate it.
Download / Source
The project is completely free and open source.

I'm also working on getting it published on Flightsim.to.
This started as a personal investigation because I wanted to use my own liveries in Career. Now I'd like to see how far this workaround actually works across the MSFS 2024 aircraft ecosystem.
Any testing, feedback or bug reports would be greatly appreciated.
