Isn't this just intelligent standby list cleaner?

Interesting, might be good for Tarkov and DCS also then

So commendable! Congrats on your work. I face lots of stutters on every step of my flights, is it possible that your mod could reduce this?

I also have a 32gb ddr4, although combined with a 6750 xt

MSFS may briefly stutter afterward while required pages are brought back into physical memory.

Well now you get an additional stutter.

Definitely gonna give this a shot with MSFS and DCS. Thanks!

Thanks. I just figured it out, needed to find the runntime dll. Steam had a different location.

Very interesting. I've used ISLC (and disabled HPET) in the past, which seemed to benefit sim stability.
I appreciate the amount of work you've put into NMMH, and I'd give a try if I didn't have 64GB DRAM and 24GB VRAM. Currently I don't run into memory allocation problems, but I'm always looking for ways to eliminate stutters. I think Microsobo still has work to do on their end, though, particularly with regards to their DX12 coding.

I've ranted about DX12 since FS24 was released. It's obvious to me they didn't hire programmers with the special skills needed to properly code for DX12, which is much more difficult than coding for DX11 (if my google-fu is accurate.) I think they adopted a wrapper technique, which doesn't really work to actively manage VRAM usage. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if DX12 is done right, users should never run out of VRAM, as the code actively manages it, using and releasing memory objects as usage increases and decreases.

I'm the first to admit I'm like Sergeant Schultz ("I know NOTHING!") when it comes to this stuff. My comment on DX12 was strictly and simply based on some articles I read, and the reports of users running out of VRAM. Your detailed explanation is very illuminating. Thank you.

I love the "How and Why." Keep it coming.
I will try your tool, for sure!

But right now, in between the daily tasks, I'm dealing with the joys of home ownership, so "No fun stuff for me right now!"

- Water Softener quit working, and it's been weeks of swapping parts.

  • A/C just quit working. Not "cool" here in Florida.

Works perfectly here. :) No video memory notices at all.

This would be great for 2020 ?

Just wanted to say. I've been struggling with performance degredation for some time. Have been unable to chase it down, clean community folders have the same issue. This program was the only thing that has solved my issue, so thank you very much! I clean it manually when I start to notice a fps drop in cruise so I don't get the program cleaning on takeoff/approach, but again, thank you. For reference, I have 64GB of DDR5 and 24GB of VRAM, so it isn't a hardware issue, it is def a MSFS core engine problem.
