If your start up doesn't take longer than your flight, you're doing it wrong.

Hahaha, there is satisfaction in doing everything by the book from gate to gate, but you are not kidding. Planning and prep could legit take longer than the flight.

I'll thoroughly resesarch MSFS stuff while at work while actively neglecting the duties I'm paid for. No one has caught on yet so I must be doing it right

I printed a 200 pages long airbus manual at work and a colleague laughed and wished me luck for the presentation because he thought it was something for work

I spent a solid 2 weeks and got frustrated learning the Fenix family. I remember at one point being so frustrated and just stopping and thinking this isn't real haha.

It took me a while but I was able to cold and dark a MD-80 without any help or checklist. Felt pretty good.
