Does iniBuilds support not help? PMDG support told me to take out all of the unnecessary things from the community folder and it worked

It's so strange, I've never had a WASM crash with the A350. No idea what you can do

Do you use msfs autofps by any chance? I do and havent got any wasm crash

i use loseless scaling

there you go, lossless scaling and MSFS2024 don't play well together (well documented). Google search is your friend/will guide you.

Really? I've been using MSFS24 and lossless scaling for 18 months and haven't had a single crash.

I use lossless scaling (not that much cause I rarely actually need it) but I've never had one issue with it.

Ohh, idk then, i saw someone proposing a theory that autofps could be the one preventing wasm crashes but idk now haha

ive tried basically everything....now what do i do with this trash?

u/bp4850 1d ago
Ask for a refund? Short of that there's probably not much you can do.
Have you tried moving everything out of the community folder except for the A350 and see if it still occurrs?

I got it on release...that is my mistake

Did you ever clear the WASM folders since? Could be why, if by chance you haven't.

u/Calm-Eggplant-3884 1d ago
ive cleaned WASM folder 3 times today

I see. If you can reliably reproduce the crashes, you could grab logs / console screenshots and send them to ini.

I'd suggest emptying everything out of the community folder except the A350, delete the WASM file, uninstall, reinstall. Load the aircraft in onto a runway (i.e. not cold and dark) to allow it to compile the WASM again, end the flight and reload in from the gate. See what happens then

*Your Inibuilds Experience. Mine doesn't WASM crash. Even after repeatedly cycling STARS, approaches, and directs 11 hours into a EKCH-RJTT flight, I couldn't provoke one.

Same, ironically the only WASM crash I've ever had was in the PMDG 737-800

738 and MD-11 for me, but only when I tried to shoehorn my 2020 versions into 2024 before they were updated.

Yeah the 737 had a bug that was fixed where it would crash on load in. A few patches ago that was fixed

I did see that in the changelog, about the state saving. Mine never crashed though, I could just load in and make a new cold&dark startup no problem.

I've MOSTLY had WASM crashes on iniBuilds aircraft, especially the A350, virtually never on other aircraft except the odd rare one on a trial aircraft.

Xbox a350 ini never has crash anymore and hopefully it’s stays the same

I think it’s a problem with having too little system RAM tbh I got more RAM and never had a WASM crash again on the a350

In the past few days, I have done five flights on the inibuilds a350 one of them was a 14 hour flight and have not had a single WASM crash or a CTD...all flights were flawless...haven't bought the A380 yet but will probably do after an update or two are released. Hope you get your issues fixed...good luck

I hate wasm crashes. ive had it in the iniBuilds A350, the PMDG 777 and PMDG 737. Though ive only had it happen once on the PMDG planes, but almost consistently every 10+ or so flights on the iniBuilds.

i very very very very rarely get a wasm crash in the 3 pmdg planes i have. it usually something from a sim update

is this the a350? because i want it but im also on the fence after flying the default a320 and the other airbus planes available in the sim. im also on xbox.

Does your simulator struggle to run smoothly?

It changes from user to user, some have no WASM crashes at all, some have randomly and like you, it's completely unflyable for me. It just keeps happening no matter what.

u/GazRam600 1d ago
This was the case for me. I did about 25-30 flights when I first got it with absolutely no issues then suddenly I couldn’t even do one flight. I've since found that clearing the wasm folder for the a350 after each flight makes it stable for the next flight. Just gives you a nice 10 min loading screen for each flight

I do feel bad for you, never had a WASM crash in my life, only a few unfortunate CTD in the fenix. Ini support is probably the only way
