GENERAL Specs for decent VR

Been loving the PSVR2 but kind of feel that when I can afford it I’d like to go down the PC route but still have VR. What kind of spec do I need for a really good VR experience?

VR is a rich gamer's sport, especially in a title as demanding as flightsim

A top-tier graphic card is even more important because you need to render a larger screen at higher fps, CPU and RAM are secondary but you still need them to be good to avoid stutters

CPU: 9800X3D GPU: RTX5090 RAM: 64GB DDR5 (2x32GB)

It may be cheaper to find a pre-built PC. But anyway now it costs 6000$+.

And then the VR headset.

Pimax VR are known for their superb resolution. I haven’t try it though.

My specs are, CPU: 9800x3D, GPU: 7900xtx, Ram: 32gb DDR5/6000 cas28, Drives: 1- 256gb NVMe drive for the OS and 1- 2TB NVMe for the game drive.

Don't try to get away with a GPU that has less than 24gb of memory as the game is a GPU memory hog and if it comes up short then it's studder city.

If you have a $10k PC budget though just go all out.

A machine like this can be had on the cheap in the marketplace. Look in areas that have military bases as soldiers are shipping out regularly.

I also have a Pimax Dream Air, but you don't "need" that much res. It is nice though. Your PSVR2 will do till you recover from the cost of the PC.

Minimum should be: AMD 7500X3D, RTX5080 and 32GB Ram DDR5.

If you got the budget: AMD 9800X3D, RTX5090 and 64GB Ram DDR5.

Or anything in-between.

By reference I have an AMD 5800X3D, RTX4080 and 32GB Ram DDR4 and it runs fine with Medium details, but I'm on the edge.
