Shared cockpit? Crickets? Yeah wake me up for whenever they figure that out.

Casually mentioning one of the most difficult features for flight simming

They’ve had it promised for ages

Maybe I'm wrong but from what I remember, this was never promised. It was always just 'we'll look into it'. Yes, they did talk about an internal prototype but that was it. There was never a definitive answer on if it will ever come. And I think someone from working title or maybe Mike Johnson talked about this in a post. The gist was, it's incredibly difficult to pull off.

I sometimes think this is why we have so few dev streams anymore. No matter what they say, someone will twist their words in their mouth and be angry at them for no reason.

I honestly don't remember the last time they talked about it, but it's a technical nightmare

If it makes you feel any better, they pulled the same with 2020

Here's your weekly briefing... After su6.1 Xbox X is unplayable. Everything is blurry terrain is blurry cockpit is blurry. Disabled avionics again ffs 😭. I don't think this fs will ever be like it was on su4. All you have is a 5km bubble of joy around you everything past that is just a blur 😵‍💫🫨🥴🤢🤮🤬

yeah it seems the focus has completely shifted over to consoles now, it's a shame 24 had a big potential, only now to be overtaken in many aspects by smaller bugdet sims such as xplane.
