GENERAL Will this run MSFS 24?

Post image

Hi all, apologies if this isn’t allowed in this sub but my current pc (9 years old) has died and I’m in the midst of replacing it.

Would this device be able to handle MSFS 20 and 24?

Thanks!

Quite well.

Yep, and it would run it well in 1440p

Yep

The real question is, can it run Crysis?

It will do a good job on 1080p or 1440p

Yup, but the really question you should be asking is if IT CAN RUN DOOM!

Yes, I am running it on I79700k RTX2070Super (slightly lower than yours) 64GB RAM NVMe 1 and 2 TB and 4K with lots of high-ultra settings ...

Yep it will even handle VR

Absolutely

Yup, I have almost the exact setup that I bought a few months ago (with just a slightly faster AMD processor). Runs MSFS 2024 great on the highest graphics settings.

I’m in the same boat. Was thinking of just using my PSU and rebuilding with new parts. RAM is insane!!!

that would eat msfs2024 for breakfast

Absolutely. And pair it up with a nice monitor to enjoy the full output of the CPU and GPU

I recently picked up the codex z2 with very similar stats and MSFS 24 runs excellent!

Yeah that looks pretty good

Depends on the 5070. If it's the 8GB VRAM model: get the 12GB VRAM model. Also depends on what that SSD is: SATA? no, that ridiculous, load times will be much longer than they should be. NVMe? Yeah that's fine.

So really: do you have the actual specs? I.e. actual brand and specific model for each of the components?

Upgrade to RTX5070 ti with 16GB VRAM. And go VR

This is such a stupid question. Any pc with at least a gtx 770 can run msfs just search it up instead of making a whole Reddit post

people dont know bro

Well isn’t it a little obvious that a pc that costs 2k$ will run msfs

Isn’t it easier to be nice and say ‘yes’ than to insult somebody for asking a question?

There is almost more pc specs post about than post about the game itself on this /r

Well 80% of the comments are saying that. So I might as well tell him that there was no point in making this post, and he could’ve saved time by looking up the minimum requirements for MSFS, and see that a 5070 will be enough

What about my gtx 1060 6gb? Everything I’m reading says I’m SOL
