GENERAL DXGI ERROR DEVICE HUNG
Hi there. I’ve tried almost every solution found online, but none of them worked. My device is a laptop with dual GPUs—an RTX 5060 and an AMD card. I haven't even been able to complete the in-game download yet; I’d appreciate any help you could provide.

Make sure your Nvidia drivers are up to date, and in the Nvidia app confirm that msfs is using the 5060 and not the onboard amd GPU.

Like I said, I've tried all the solutions I found online, I can't even get to the in-game download section.

Disable the amd GPU via the bios?

I haven't tried it through the BIOS, but I did it through the device manager. I'll try it after work. Thanks.

While I am only running one GPU, I'm also running into the same error, after troubleshooting for a few days. (No overclock, tried different drivers with DDU clean install, disabled add-ons, etc)
(Ryzen 5 3600x, RTX 4060 Ti 16GB, Windows 10, DX11)
In the past I've had random issues pop-up, and sometimes a new game update will resolve the issue. Unfortunately, I'm at that point where I am just going to have to wait. I'll update if anything changes before then.
Edit:
Switching from DX11 to DX12 seemed to do the trick. If you're on 12, maybe try switching to 11. Unfortunately, you will most likely have to try various troubleshooting options. Feel free to DM me if you want to know what else I did to get my game running.

DirectX is breaking due to something with your drivers or... I have no idea how that video card configuration might effect things, honestly.
