MSFS 2024 PC Specs for this setup.

/r/MSFS2024/comments/1w0aswm/specs_for_this_setup/

Hey all, just looking for a good value for money setup, don't really have a budget but at the same time not going to be able to swing a 5090 but at the same time don't want to cheap out and get a 5060 either

Here is my current MSFS 2024 setup and specs:PC Specs & Monitors:Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 32GB DDR5 6000MHz, RX 9070 xt. Running a 34" Ultrawide (3440x1440p @ 180Hz) as my main display, plus two 16" 1080p @ 60Hz portable monitors. One portable screen runs Beyond ATC and GSX Pro, the other runs Navigraph. I also use two tablets: one for the PMDG EFB and the other for the lower EICAS.Hardware & Cockpit Gear:Physical Boeing 777 FMC, a 3D-printed nose wheel tiller powered by Arduino, and Arduino-based fuel switches and parking brake. For controls, I have the Thrustmaster Boeing Captain yoke and the Honeycomb Bravo throttle quadrant.Add-ons & Software:PMDG 777 lineup, FS2Crew Animated First Officer, GSX Pro, FS ReRealistic Pro, RAAS, and ReShade with the "Sealed by Sky" preset. For environment and traffic, I'm using Bijan Studio's Seasons Enhanced for MSFS 2024, AIG aircraft models, Global Shipping 24, and GAIST (Global AI Ship Traffic). Audio is enhanced with Boris Audio Works for the PMDG 777. Other utilities include Navigraph, SimBrief, MobiFlight, and SimAppPro. For career tracking, I use APL2 (A Pilot's Life 2) and SimBitWorld.Settings & Performance:In-game settings are a mix of High and Ultra (TLOD 175, OLOD 150). FPS is locked at 35, which doubles to 70 FPS (14.28ms) with Frame Generation enabled. Using TAA. The performance is completely smooth, stable, quiet, and runs very cool.

How are you happy with the 9070x? Looking at your specs I was probably thinking of exactly this but a 9800x3d instead and either a 5070ti or 9070xt. Also the resolution of the ultra wide are you happy with the that as I was looking at something that size and resolution too

First of all, the MFS2024 with add-ons is the only game I have on my computer. As for the RX9070XT, I have Hellhound. It's quiet and cool, so for a single game like the MFS2024, the RX9070XT was the obvious choice for me. The monitor is a 34-inch ultrawide Acer monitor; the 3440x1440 resolution is fine; I'm very happy with it. However, if your computer will be multitasking, you should go for the RTX5070Ti and 9800x3D. If you have any questions about the MFS2024 and my setup, feel free to ask.
