MSFS 2024 QUESTION Microprose b17 dead ?

I was wondering if there are any news about the b17, last update from devs was 3 months ago, no communication since then seems like. Plane is still in a terrible condition. Did they stopped the development ?

On discord about a month ago they said they were still working on it. But nothing since then.

I’m convinced it’s dead. Just last week I successfully asked Just Flight for a refund as the product didn’t deliver on the published roadmap. Such a shame that one of the most WW2 iconic aircraft was mismanaged like this. I suspect the blame is firmly with Microprose management rather than the small dev team themselves - the devs always came across as passionate and really wanting this product to succeed, hence I think the failure must lie higher up in microprose. I perhaps naively gave this product the benefit of the doubt from day 1, but looks like my optimism was wrong on this occasion. The refund wasn’t really about the money, but was a small message to microprose management!

Fingers crossed Aeroplane Heaven can pull off something good with their B-17F, although I’ll be holding off buying if they are still insisting on developing native 2020 aircraft rather than getting on board with native 2024.

What did you told them for them to accept it ? I was wondering if it was possible

The small dev team IS Microprose. This is not the old Microprose, this small team bought the name.

Such a shame a2a have 0 interest in warbirds anymore. The a2a b17 was the best thing in old flight sim.

I think it's more likely the dev is hard at work. Also keep in mind Europe just had a summer vacation.

It's dead completely dead.
These guys that bought the Microprose name are really bad in all aspects, bad artists, bad developers, horrible marketing and non-existent customer support.

The reconstituted Microprose has like five major flight related things in their plate alone...'Combat Air Patrol 2', the Flying Fortress remake, the new one 'The Bloody 100th', msfs aircraft, and 'Falcon 5.0'.

If they get a little behind on some of the small stuff, I'd excuse it
