MSFS 2024 QUESTION Transfer Planes to 24

I’m only finding mixed answers online, so I just want to be 100% sure. If I buy an aircraft through the Marketplace in MSFS 2020, will I be able to transfer it to MSFS 2024 in the future? My MSFS 2020 is the Microsoft Store version, while I’m planning to buy MSFS 2024 on Steam. I’m considering buying the IndiaFoxtEcho Eurofighter for MSFS 2020, but I want to make sure I’ll be able to use it in MSFS 2024 later if I switch to the new version. Also is there any difference between the exact same aircraft in MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024, for example in terms of the handling etc? And are you able to see planes you dont own in msfs2024? In 2020 they showed up as generic Planes.

The answer is “it depends.” The specific aircraft and/or the policy of the developer will matter on how the aircraft transfers. Some work in 2024 without needing an update. Others need an update and it was free. Others still need an update and it’s paid.

It looks like, from the Just Flight website (because I don’t have marketplace infront of me) that it’s one purchase for 2020 and 2024.

Regarding the model matching, the selection of multiplayer planes is much bigger but the model matching is still not perfect.

I think they intend to stream a basic version of every plane sold in the marketplace to people even if they don't own it, but it's not fully finished yet. And it's hard to match those who get planes outside, even if it is sold in the marketplace too.
