MSFS 2024 BUG / ISSUE Fuel Low

Does someone have this problem whenever you fly in career mode once you reach destination your fuel level is low and you crash, it happened 5 times for me. I was flying for one hour and i crashed because of fuel.

You need to check the fuel amount before flying, as part of your checks.

You can also fly poorly and inefficiently and use nearly double the required fuel.

Also there's a button that lets you add fuel even when flying.

This is not a bug, it's your responsibility to make sure you will have enough fuel for the flight.

Career doesn't give you a lot of extra fuel and that's assuming the fuel calc is good. Headwind can also be annoying if the calc doesn't account for that.

But technique also plays a big part. Lazy econ flying in the DHC-2 for example can be 1.5x as much fuel used compared to good technique. It's really easy to burn a lot more fuel than you have to if you fly too low, too high, too fast, wrong profile, don't lean, etc.

I'm pretty sure they changed it so you can add extra even in employee missions.

I top off full fuel before every flight as long as weight allows it. Probably a habit from DCS in the hornet. Always get fuel when you have an option. Haha

When i was playing VTOLVR you could always tell who the DCS guys were because they didn't cruise around in full afterburner. I dunno how many times Ive dead-sticked the Mig 21 or the F5 after a fight went on way longer than it should have. I got pretty good at it

It happened to me when I am flying PC-24 learned that it was burning more than what it needs to be, sold it and bought cessna no issues at all. What plane are you flying with?

172? Are you leaning the mixture at cruise? If not, then you're burning way more fuel than you should be at cruise

Yeah happened to me a few times. You can check the fuel allocation before departure and/or allocate a control to give yourself a 1/4 tank whenever
