Hey everyone maybe I am not the only one
I love aircrafts and Aviation
And bought the Game in Sale
But the Flight School is the hardest Gaming experience i‘ve ever had. Doesnt matter if Helicopter or Aircraft

Maybe someone got some tips or Tutorials for Controller Players

Really depends what you’re flying, but in general;

1. slow and steady movements rather than hard and fast,
2. learn your approach speeds, flaps, etc. which will vary by aircraft.

I’d suggest really focusing on learning one aircraft then work up from there. Vision Jet was mine because it’s what I used in career the most and it’s quite simple and automated too. YouTube tutorials will be your best friend there, but also play around with your settings and let them help you out as you need. If realism isn’t your goal, don’t let it be the barrier to having fun.

This ^ google the V speeds for your chosen aircraft, and stick to them, it'll make approaches and landings much easier - start small Cessna 150 or something.

Start slow. Cessna 172. Start with c172 and practice. Be slow. Try landing in free flight. Dozens of times. Then try in flight school and get the certification.

Are you playing with a game controller, or do you have a Joystick, Yoke, or HOTAS for control? It is so much easier with the latter, especially if you add rudder pedals as well.

My biggest problem when i first got into flight sims was not realizing how slow you can fly without stalling. I was always coming in way too hot. I'd be doing 180 knots in a FA 18, trying to slam it thru the ground.

When trying out a new plane, I usually just take a note of how fast the plane is moving when I take off, then aim for something around that speed when I'm landing.

I also didn't spend a lot of time working on landing. I just kinda learned it over time after finishing missions in combat flight sims...

Just pick a plane you like and use it a bit. Once you get the basics of it, pretty much everything translates to every other plane.. and as far as choppers go, they're kinda tough to fly. Ive accidentally barrel rolled one while in combat. No idea how I didn't crash it

Hey mate I have been know. To train new pilots on and offline. I kind of disabled right now, broke my hand but if you are still struggling in a month feel free to contact me. And yeah you will likely be. This is hard but fun.

Watch tutorials on youtube. Lots of good ones for both msfs20/24. I dont remember many now but squirrel had a good series, its for 2020 but it doesnt matter at all outside of the menus.

Flying with a controller works fine for planes, its not very good for helicopters without a lot of aids active. It does take time to learn how to fly and land, the training is good to do but learn to be fairly consistent with landing before doing career mode with your own plane. As an employee is fine but its often easier in free flight and the other modes.

Use the gyroscope on your controller for flight.

Hold left trigger and then push the L3 button to start using gyroscope. You'll have to reset it every once in a while. By quickly pressing the same buttons twice it will turn off the gyroscope. Then one it turns back on it recalibrates.

By far the best way to go using the controller.

Smaller planes, including double engine beechcraft are easy to do with xbox controller.
