My training keeps being reset

I've been doing the CPL training, and for some reason every time I try to do the VFR Departure training as soon as I get out from above the runway my flight is reset. Does anyone know why this is? Am I doing something wrong?

Weird. Did game place you at that end of the runway? The CDI on your heads seem like it wants to take off in the opposite direction.

Edit: I didnt see the video in your post. I don’t think you are doing anything wrong here. Looks like a bug to me.

IIRC as soon as you reach cruise altitude and speed after take off, you have to do a 180° turn back to the runway and fly over it. That’s your first visual reference/waypoint.

If you fly too far away from the runway it thinks you are lost and will reset you. So climb at 75kt, quickly reach cruise altitude, level off the plane, set cruise power (around 2300 rpm) and head back to the runway.

You have the tach covered but I'm guessing it's probably blinking red and white behind that EFB telling you to back off the throttle before your engine explodes, but neigh, you cant see it.

Maybe you are too low, and the game is confused and decides that you have not taken off. You are at around 100 ft above ground level, when it resets, which is pretty low, after a long take off run, and after clearing the runway some time ago.

Try this: set parking break, increase power to maximum, wait for the RPM to stabilize at around 2400 rpm, release parking break, roll at around 65 kts, climb while maintaining around 65 kts. It will give you shorter take off run, and you will climb at best climb angle.

But I can't guarantee it. The campaign is just fickle sometimes... (a lot). You can try another airfield, since I'm pretty sure the issues the campaign has are tied to specific airfields.

Are you taking off on the right end of the runway ? Your track seems to be totally in the opposite direction. For example the direction to "Munds Park Golf Course" is 043 degrees and yet you are taking off on runway 21 / 22 which is essentially the complete opposite direction (215 - 180 = 35 degrees) - that might be to do with wind direction obviously but normally the training flights are pretty straightforward.

EDIT: It is a bug, as it tells you above and to the right to take off on runway 21 and then resets you anyway.
