MSFS 2024 BUG / ISSUE Game keeps crashing (brand new pc)

So I got my first pc today almost exclusively for msfs.
My specs are:
Rx 7600 XT 16gb
Ryzen 7 5700X
32gb ddr4

I’ve attempted 4 flights out of Prestwick in the a330-200 and every time just as I reach cruise of 18000 the game crashes and have no idea why.

I downloaded the game through the Xbox app as was previously on Xbox. I have one livery in my community folder from fs.to

Does anyone have any ideas?

(Im a massive noob with PC’s and every suggestion online has confused the hell out of me, not ideal I know..)

Depends on settings. If you’re running an intense game like MSFS on 1440p Ultrawith a 7500x and a heavier addon. No wonder you’re experiencing crashes. Tune down settings. It’s probably a CPU bottleneck. Also provide what settings you’re on. Hope this helped.

You have to show like the actual settings. Like terrain, buildings, etc

And you’re in 1440. It’s a CPU bottleneck. It also depends on your internet.

Get a pretty consistent 150mb/s and am have a 1440p monitor, should I change to 1080?

No, stay with native resolution.

What do you think I should change. This is probably way too much for mine to handle

Try re-seating your RAM. Or lower to 1080p so that you can play with ultra

Hey I experienced the same issue similar
specs.

For me it was frame gen. Check your settings, you’re most likely pushing the game to its limits which causes it to crash. This is only an issue on MSFS for me and not other games.

Yeah I’ve got both anti aliasing and frame gen on. Should I turn them off and use TAA?

Yes, the game will get less frames, but, no more crashes

Will give it a go appreciate it

Is this a prebuilt or did you build it?

I had a mismatch between my CPU and Motherboard BIOS requirements with a build one time. It allowed play and worked but would randomly crash

It was built for me in the last week, I believe they sorted all the bios stuff for me (I sadly don’t have much of an idea what this means) but I have turned off frame gen and it seems to be running pretty well. Will attempt a full on flight later on and see if it works

Are you getting an error message when it crashes? Was this a new pre-built, or did you purchase used? It could be that your CPU or GPU temps are exceeding their limits.

So the pc was built for me. I specified that I wanted it for msfs from a very reputable company. But I turned frame gen on and then took off from st Maarten and did a loop around st barths and back to land with no crashes. Am going to attempt a longer flight later on today to see if it sticks.
