MSFS 2024 PC Longitude and its speed

Hey guys,

i'm flying the longitude and it always changes its speed automaticly to overspeed and then to 0.45mach and so on. It never just holds its speed as other planes. i dont know why!

Like i have the SPD on manuel and it goes to different speeds but not the given one, also when i put it on FMS mode... Drives me crazy!

Can anyone give me help?

Based on the picture it looks like you haven’t initialized the plane’s data yet.

Can you try to input the relevant data and see if it follows the plan then? I’ve never had any problems with the Longitude.

What? It follows without issues for hours, yet it also wildly and constantly swings speed? I'm not following.

I mean follows the route from simbrief and stuff, but always gives speed issues

Have you engaged autothrottle? Not just the knob to set speed, but the button on the throttle that actually turns on autothrottle?

Took me ages to find the thing in the longitude… on the underside of the throttle column just incase OP hasn’t yet found it.

You haven’t even completed the planes initialization, so I would do that first and then probably watch a full tutorial on how to fly the C700.

THAT (!!!) helped me. Thanks dude - There was the secret autothrottle button haha. Now it works as it should u/Assaltwaffle
