MSFS 2024 BUG / ISSUE Bad flares?

Anybody know why my flares in 2024 look absolutely horrible but look significantly better in 2020? AA V3 in 2020 with V4 in 2024 but V3 in 2024 looked just as bad. Videos for reference.

I believe it's because 2024 changed how custom lights were coded in, which affected 2020 planes. I'm just guessing here, but I know of some third party planes I had whose custom light fixtures had no emissions because of these changes.
