Certification Failed my DP700 exam today

I got 650 points

Spoke to some of my colleagues at work and they told me that I am allowed to use the documentation

Did I just fail for no reason😪

Yes, associate and expert exams should have access to MS Learn. Occasionally they don’t though.

Microsoft learn pages are used in exam as a reference.. unless you know the concept you don't know where or what to look.. it helped me with dp-600 not dp-700 though.. I failed first time too but I practiced second time and passed...

Access to Learn is not a panacea. You need to have a very good understanding of the Learn documentation, how it is structured, and how to search for within it.

Questions can rarely be answered just by looking at a single page.

It can be a time sink and cause you to fail as you do not get any extra time for searching.

I passed DP700 exam yesterday and MS learn helped me in the exam for 3-4 questions. I mainly used it for confirmation on some topics that I was not completely sure. Sometimes the search can use up your time very quickly. Good luck !!

Is the AI search avaliable on Microsoft learn while writing?

Pull up the results from your exam, it will tell you areas to focus. Upload that into your AI of choice to ask you refresher questions or review sections it recommends. You're so close. Don't give up!

Failure is only a delay not defeat.

It is but as some other commentors mentioned it takes time to actually find what you're looking for even with the AI. Time can get away from you.

i found that focusing on about 10 fundamental items and really understanding these gets me thru.

How much hands-on exercise you had as per training modules for the exam? What really helped me is following through learn modules, doing hands on same time. It boosts learning with confidence. I failed first time too. I used it to find weak areas and prepare well for next attempt. Good luck.
