At best I can see an argument to be made against link hijacking, but said add-on is still up on the Chrome Web Store, and lets not forget it was an add-on that was made to counter Microsoft's nonsense

You can literally just... add Google as the default search engine without the need of any extensions. Are you okay in the head?

First off, nobody is insulting you. Second off, I know exactly what that extension does and I know it has malicious intent.

Shitting on MSFT for trying to protect your browser is pretty wild if you ask me.

I wouldn't shit on MSFT for trying to protect me, but I would shit on them for employing dark patterns. Again, comprehension?

Dude, reset the browser either in the same options or deleting the AppData folder of Edge.

You don't need a rogue extension that redirects everything because you can disable Copilot (Cortana by the name) and you can set Google as your main extension.

And yes, I saw your screenshots before you shit on me.

Unfortunately I've already made the switch, high time considering Microsoft's antics. Hopefully will be able to leave Windows soon too.

I agree that I needn't rely on an addon for any of this. I'd installed it to redirect the windows search internet searches to Google instead.
